A dream has come true - the spa hotel in Saalbach

There are three things that we, the Sommerbichle's Andrea, Martin, Stefan and Elisabeth have had in common for a long time: the love of our mountainous homeland and our passion for the Orient.

Our parents not only owned the "Blumenhotel Tirolerhof", in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, but also owned a transport company in the old Persia. As children, we often accompanied them on their travels - and you can only imagine how impressed we were as children by the strange, the colourful and the magical world we saw.

A place where visions can be lived

We did create a small oases within this world, places where dreams can be lived and where encounters are made. We have taken an old concept of shelter and hospitality, which originally came from Persia, and reinterpreted it as a new, modern, western oasis for the body, mind and soul. Thus, in 2009, after 2 years of construction, out of the "Blumenhotel Tirolerhof" was born the "Alpen-Karawanserai Time Design Hotel".

With the Hotel Alpen-Karawanserai we allowed our vision of a very special hotel to come true. It's relaxed and casual, but with the comfort and service. For us, basic values such as honesty, fairness and transparency are important - not only in our guests but in our team too. We believe it's the only way to create an atmosphere of trust and mutual respect.
